    Testimonials: What Presidents are Saying

The NPA is extremely beneficial for new Presidents.  It provides a safe space for sharing goals, opportunities and challenges as one assumes the presidency.  The faculty are engaging and open to longer term mentoring relationships and they work together to create a collaborative learning space.  The work we do at AASCU institutions is vital to our nation and the NPA serves to renew and prepare us for leadership at our respective institutions and with the larger academy and AASCU.
    - Rex Fuller – Western Oregon University

This has been a deeply transformative and powerful experience.  It has been incredibly rich, informative, and humbling.
I have greatly appreciated the opportunity to reflect and be intentionally strategic in developing and implementing a campus vision and strategic plan.
It has been remarkable to meet and develop meaningful relationships with so many talented colleagues and experienced faculty presidents.  Heartfelt thanks!
    - Ellen Junn – California State University, Stanislaus

I found the academy to be very well thought-out, addressing the key issues presidents need to be aware of as they take on their new role. The reading materials were insightful and complimentary to the presentations, and provided opportunity for reflection and thoughtful questioning.  The class was about the right size allowing for good interaction and collegial atmosphere. The instructors were approachable, informative, and motivating. Overall, the academy was time well spent and I would highly recommend it to others.
