Objectives:o Provide a transfer friendly program for students
with two-year degrees to continue study for a B.S. degree. Agreements have been
developed for students with the following degrees: A.S. and A.A.S. degrees in
Design Technology from Ivy Tech, A.S. and A.A.S. degrees from Vincennes
University in Drafting and Design/CAD and A.A.S. degrees from Lake Land College
in CAD or Mechanical-Electrical Technology.
o Meet human resource needs of member companies of
the Wabash Valley Advanced Manufacturing Cluster.
o Increase enrollment in the Mechanical
Engineering Technology program.
Outcomes:o Enrollment in the Mechanical Engineering
Technology Program has grown from an enrollment of 127 in 2010 to 181 in
2012.
o Between 25-35 students transfer from a 2-year
school into the program each year.
