ALO, in cooperation with USAID, is issuing this RFA for a partnership involving a U.S. college, university, or consortia and its private sector partners and Mali's main institutions for teaching and research in agriculture to build strong national teaching and research capacities through long-term training and establish collaborative research linkages in the agricultural sector. The institutional partnership will involve professional development opportunities for faculty and staff.

ALO plans to conduct a peer-reviewed competition to make one award of up to $400,000 to implement a cooperative partnership over a three year period.
