ALO, in cooperation with USAID/India, is issuing this special request for applications for higher education partnerships between U.S. universities, colleges, community colleges, associations or consortia, and Indian higher education institutions in various regions to stimulate India’s economic development through a stronger agricultural sector (Note: “agriculture” here refers to the entire food system, and includes policies, standards, regulations, technologies, marketing and market linkages, education, inter alia). The partnerships will address promising opportunities for agricultural development in India and the shared interests of the cooperating institutions as these relate to the strategic priorities of USAID/India.

ALO plans to conduct a peer-review competition to award up to six (6) grants of up to $300,000 each.
