Meeting Information

Join us in Baltimore, Maryland, June 11-13, 2009 for the 7th Annual American Democracy Project (ADP) National Meeting as we explore the theme “Diversity and Civic Engagement.” We have an outstanding program planned with terrific plenary speakers, workshops, a Campus and Friends Showcase, opportunities for small group discussions, an America's Future Intergenerational Dialogue, a Naturalization Ceremony, and much more.

Our Speakers include:

We will have featured presentations on some of our signature projects, including the following ADP projects and initiatives: Deliberative Polling, Political Engagement Project, 7 Revolutions, Stewardship of Public Lands, Civic Agency, and America’s Future.  

The ADP National Meeting will be begin at 4:00 p.m. with opening remarks by Sylvia Hurtado and a naturalization ceremony. In addition to the regular program features, on Thursday evening we will kickoff with an opening reception aboard the USS Constellation. On Saturday evening there will be a closing reception at Camden Yards.

This is going to be a very rich program, both a celebration of accomplishments and a dialogue about future initiatives.
