THE Leadership Program for State College and University Presidents
The AASCU New Presidents Academy is tailored to the distinctive needs of presidents and chancellors who lead state colleges and universities. You will not want to miss this unique opportunity to meet with your state university peers in a learning environment that is supportive, engaging and tailored to the specific challenges that a first-time president is likely to face.

About the Conference

The program provides practical advice grounded in leadership research and complemented by the knowledge and experience of current and former AASCU presidents who serve as academy faculty. Topics include strategic visioning, shaping the organization, managing enrollment for student success, financial management, interpretive communication and much more.

This is the only program that offers executive coaching and mentoring throughout the first year to support continued learning and success.

Eligibility

Presidents and chancellors at AASCU member institutions who are serving in this capacity for the first time and who assumed their presidencies within the past two years (since spring 2011).
