Testimonials - What Presidents are Saying..

“Incredible opportunity! The faculty were extremely knowledgeable and engaging. I felt that each member of the faculty was personally invested in each member of the class - that required intentionality, focus and thoughtfulness. I appreciated both the pre-reading & the extended reading opportunities post-conference. The personal follow-up post-conference is also a strong sign of the ongoing commitment to each of us.”
- Tisa-Mason, Valley City State University

“I found the Academy to be an outstanding investment of time and energy. By the end of the four days I felt affirmed in what I had accomplished in my first year, but also daunted in the realization of what I needed to accomplish in my second year and beyond.  The faculty were excellent and I appreciated the real-life experiences they shared to illustrate points in their presentations. I sincerely, appreciated their advice and the collegial atmosphere they helped create during the Academy.”
- George W. Hynd, Oakland University

This is the best orientation I have experienced.  It was very well timed at the four (4) week mark in my position. The faculty members were very knowledgeable and experienced. Great reference materials and in-class exercises! I especially appreciate the opportunity to create and discuss a 500-day entry plan. I feel better prepared than before I attended NPA.
- Maria Thompson, Coppin State University

I would like to thank AASCU for providing this academy. The faculty was top notch. I feel confident that I have received the skills necessary to position my institution in a positive direction. I particularly appreciated the balance between nuts & bolts tips and big picture visioning.
- Elaine C. Collins, Johnson State College, Vermont

It is impossible to exaggerate how valuable this experience has been for me. It was very clear from the outset just how deeply committed the faculty are to assisting us in making the transition to the very challenging roles in which we now find ourselves.  I deeply appreciate the values that were embedded in all of the presentations and the atmosphere of trust and candor that was established. The process of developing an entry plan was particularly worthwhile.
- Tom Bowling, Frostburg State University
