About the Student
Rocio Torres was born in Guanajuato, Mexico and, at the
age of 11, she came to Pennsylvania with her family. She was faced with
many challenges but she never gave up. Recently, she graduated from
Millersville University with a bachelor’s degree in international
business and marketing. Throughout her college career, Rocio has been
involved in many clubs and organizations. Some of her future goals
include being the owner of a global fashion company and raising money to
provide students of low-income families with scholarships to pursue a
college education. Her hobbies include dancing, photography, cultural
education, sewing and making jewelry/crafts.
