Graduation Year: 2009
Degree Earned: Marketing B.S.B.A.

Minnesota Twins second baseman Brian Dozier, a former Golden Eagle baseball player who led Southern Miss to the College World Series in 2009, has been named to the Major League Baseball All-Star Game. It marked the first time in more than 50 years since a Southern Miss alumnus had been an All-Star selection. Dozier takes the knowledge that he is now a role model to young people very seriously. For example, he has made recurring mission trips with the organization Amigos for Christ to Nicaragua to dig ditches and build schools for the people of that Central American nation.
