Naomi Natale is founder and director of One Million Bones, a collection of 1,000,000 handmade bones which were displayed on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. in the summer of 2013. Natale is an installation artist, photographer and social-practice artist. In 2008, Natale completed a large-scale installation, The Cradle Project. Over 550 cradles were created and submitted by international artists drawn to Natale’s vision. Natale speaks internationally on the topic of art and activism. She is the recipient of several awards, including the 2011 Arts Healing Network Award; the 2010 TED Senior Fellowship; and the 2009 Professional Achievement Award: The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey.
