Application Requirements

The Millennium Leadership Institute 2013 will be held June 8-11, 2013 in Washington, DC.  To be eligible, applicants must meet the criteria of having attained the level of college or university dean or above, or they have demonstrated equivalent administrative experience to participate in the MLI. All applicants are promising senior administrators with line experience in education or government, who have attained the level of college or university dean or above, or have demonstrated equivalent administrative experience. The nominee must possess a terminal degree. In addition, an applicant must:

  1. Obtain the nomination of the President/Chancellor or CEO.  The nomination confirms that the applicant's institution or nominating institution agrees to provide monetary support for participation.
  2. If accepted, commit to participate in all of the scheduled sessions beginning Saturday, June 8 at 8 a.m. through the evening of Tuesday, June 11. Travel Wednesday morning June 12.
  3. After the MLI Institute, commit to participate in the yearlong mentor/protégé component.
  4. Complete the application by February 15, 2013.

Application Form

Applications must be completed by February 15. Acceptance notifications will be sent in March.
