The 2014 MLI Institute will be held June 7-10, 2014 in Washington,
DC. All applicants should be promising senior administrators with line experience in education or government, who have
attained the level of full college or university dean or above, or have demonstrated
equivalent administrative experience. The nominee must possess a terminal degree.
In addition, an applicant must:
- Obtain the nomination of the President/Chancellor or CEO. The nomination confirms
that the applicant's institution or nominating institution agrees to provide monetary
support for participation.
- If accepted, commit to participate in all of the scheduled sessions beginning on Saturday, June 7 at 8 a.m. through Tuesday evening, June 10 (travel Wednesday morning June 11). Participation in all sessions is required to be considered a graduate of the MLI program.
- After the MLI Institute, commit to participate in the yearlong mentor/protégé component.
