Semi-Annual Funding Conferences |
| Every member is linked with a dedicated GRC advisor to assist with requests regarding grant opportunities, funding trends, and sponsored programs administration. GRC identifies funding sources for institutional projects, connects members with experts across the government and private sector, locates funded proposals, monitors the legislative process and its impact on discretionary funding, and much more. |
|
The annual Proposal Development Workshop and External Funding Conference provide opportunities to network with federal and private program managers, government leaders, successful awardees, and colleagues from throughout the country. Attendees receive the latest information on budget and policy directions, program initiatives, and regulatory developments, and return to campus with practical information on increasing institutional competitiveness. |

Advocacy |
| The year-round GRC web conference schedule provides members with low-cost access to technical assistance, detailed proposal development advice, and information on implementing best practices in research and sponsored programs administration. |
|
GRC task forces on health research and education, electronic research administration, and economic and community development have resulted in a broadening of agencies' applicant pools, improvements in the Grants.gov system, and the development of funding and strategy guides. |
