Each year, twelve alumni of the US-based Japan Studies Institute (JSI) are invited to attend the JSI-Japan Seminar, which is hosted in multiple cities across Japan. The JSI-Japan Seminar is the logical next step in equipping JSI alumni with knowledge about Japan to incorporate into their courses and programs. Additionally, this program allows faculty to make contact with colleagues in Japan to share curriculum, build exchanges and establish institutional linkages that will increase student mobility between Japan and the US. For more information about the JSI-Japan Seminar, please contact
Jody Dixon, AASCU’s Program Coordinator for Global Initiatives.
This program is made possible thanks to the generous support of the
Japan-US Friendship Commission (JUSFC).
