Strengthening the Impact of AASCU Institutions through Education Consumer Data

2019 Presidential Symposium

Tuesday, April 23, 2019 to Wednesday, April 24, 2019
Indianapolis, IN

2019 AASCU Spring Symposium for Presidents
Made possible by the generous support of Strada Education Network

About the Conference

AASCU institutions are distinctive in their mission and commitment to meeting students where they are so they can move forward. The Strada-Gallup Education Consumer Survey is a national database of more than 320,000 prospective and current students, as well as alumni and non-completers provides insights about how Americans view higher education related to their workforce and career readiness and what creates value within an educational pathway. We will examine how our AASCU students, including under-represented and under-served individuals, compare with their peers nationally at both private and non-AASCU public institutions.

AASCU’s 2019 Spring Presidential Symposium, presented in partnership with Strada, provides an opportunity for AASCU presidents, chancellors, to hear from experts and representatives from other AASCU institutions about preparing for the jobs of the future  by accessing the consumer voice including those of students  and alumni.

Participants will:

  • Gain tools that will allow them to use information from students and alumni
  • Access institutional data
  • Discuss and share methods for creating change
