About the Student

Chris Kite

I was born on Clark Air Force Base on June 27, 1990. My father was in the air force and met my mother while on term in the Philippines. We moved to the United States about a year later to live with my father’s family in Sharon, Pennsylvania. I went to school at West Middlesex Jr./Sr. High School, which is located a short 40 minute drive north of Slippery Rock. While in school I was involved in track and field and martial arts. I graduated in a class of less than 100 students in 2008. Currently, I am a junior at Slippery Rock University, where I’m studying therapeutic recreation.
